Mission
“In adherence to state policies and objectives, submitting the estimates of expenditure for the Ministry of Social Empowerment, orientating the money for estimated time frames, acquiring and maintaining of assets, accounting and maintaining the accounts and maintaining transparent, efficient and productive state finance management process in compliance with establishment provisions and circular instructions while handling the state finance policies.”
Main Objectives
- Submit the total annual budget estimate of the Ministry to the Department of National Budget having prepared the same while following the national development strategies.
- Acquire assets under asset management, maintain such assists, monitor the procurement activities and implement the same and put the price on it.
- Keep accounts. Maintain them and update.
- Assist in formulating the financial policies.
- Collect revenue, control and supervise expenses.
- Correctly maintain the financial and accounting affairs of the Ministry of Social Empowerment and Institution under its purview.

Preparation of budget estimate in year 2019 relating to the Ministry of Social Empowerment for forwarding to the Appropriation Act, coordination activities, conduct of discussions and obtaining of the required provisions are being carried out.
Innovatron Programmes
- Prepare and present the innovation methodologies for the renovative and reorganizational activities of the office methodologies which are due to be done in the Ministry for 2018.
- Identifying new computer methodologies on the storing and recording the goods, it can be utilized for the renovation of storing.
